Hoya blashernaezii ssp. siariae

This hoya was first named just siariae and that name was published in 2002 by Kloppenburg. It was named after the PhD Simeona V. Siar who died in 2011.

I got this hoya as an unrooted cutting in April 2005. I was able to cut it up into two cuttings and I potted them together to get a bigger plant faster... It came with a peduncle and it developped buds, but they fell off when they were still tiny. It grew nicely I finally got to see the flowers at the beginning of June 2006. They were even prettier IRL than on photo. A definite flower favourite!

I kept my plant in an eastern window where it got plenty of morning sunshine. When moving in 2008 I sold this plant, but who knows... maybe I'll get one again?!
