Hoya HSI-037

I bought this hoya as a rooted cutting in April 2005. It was on a trip to Stenåsa i Varberg together with other Hoyafreaks and I told myself also this time that I wasn't going to buy any more hoyas... That was until I saw this one with its clear green almost plastic leaves... It was marked as Hoya hybrid Mirashiro, but I think it's the one called HSI-037. I know you're not supposed to try to identify a hoya just by its leaves, but until it has bloomed it will remain here and be called HSI-037.

When repotting it in February I chose to cut the long vine. I just stuck the cut half on the other side of the support. It has rooted even though the cutting was rather big. Now I'm just waiting for it to grow as much as it did last year... and bloom!
