Hoya coronaria

This is another hoya that I bought at a hoya exhibition in July 2000. Back then it was a rather big plant with thick foliage. I untangled it from its rusty wire trellis and put it on a better looking support (see narrow photo). I hadn't had the plant very long until the leaves started turning yellow and fell off... I had no idea why and soon there were only a couple of healthy vines left, which I managed to save. The cuttings started growing nicely at first, but soon it was the same story all over again... The last time I renewed what was left of it was in June 2003 and it's looking hopeful so far since it hasn't shown any signs of loosing leaves, so who knows?! I found out that it was an eriostemma just before I renewed it last and I have given it some extra limestone since then, but I have no hope of seeing flowers. This is a hoya that i will keep as long as it lasts and I'm happy just to keep it alive!
