I bought this hoya as a rooted cuttings in May 2002 from Botanova in northern Sweden. I liked the leaves so I just had to have it! However, I must say it's a strange behaving hoya! It grows fast, then it stops, drops a few leaves, starts growing again, stops... The leaves are gorgeous with the pink flecks though!

It doesn't just grow strange - it flowers strange too! The first time it flowered was in April 2004 and then it was only one flower growing straight out from the stem. Weird! I thought it could have been because it was the first time, but the second time it was the same thing... Two new leaves and a small bud in the middle. One single flower straight out from the stem. Anyone else who has a strange behaving erythrina?

Last summer (2005) i decided to sell this hoya. I found it rather boring, even though the leaves are nice. Perhaps one day I'll get a new one, but that'll probably not happen until I have more room for hoyas... or should I say enough room for the ones I have?!
