Hoya sp. Biak

I bought this hoya as an unrooted cutting in May 2005 from Botonova. This was the first time I had to root a hoya from them... However, it rooted quite fast and started growing slowly. I find it a slow grower, but that could be just when it's young. What do I know?! The leaves look almost like it could be a large leafed dischidia and the leaves with lots of spots are really nice. I kind of like the yellow flowering hoyas so this is a nice addition to my collection. I hope!

In November 2005 I just couldn't resist buying a fairly large plant of this hoya. Unfortunately it dropped a lot of its leaves during the winter, but it sure has compensated for that since there are new vines growing in just about every leafless spot! The only problem I now have is that the new vines are quite stiff and difficult to bend in place as they grow... Now all I have to do is wait for the flowers!
