Hoya sigillatis NS 07-039

I bought this one as an unrooted cutting at a Hoya meeting in August 2011. The cutting had nice red leaves and would probably be slow to root and it sure was... Not until late in the fall it started showing signs of new growth and after that it has continued to be a slow grower. With this growth rate it'll probably be a while before I get to see flowers so I'm glad I took photos of the mother plant when it bloomed. I keep the cutting under grow lights in my hoya room and new leaves are also a little red so this is a very nice hoya!
