Our Hoya Fungii won the Blue Ribbon at the 2008 Rock Island (Illinois) County Fair. It was entered in the 'Hanging basket houseplant grown for blooms' category. It had several blooms on it. Perfect timing! This plant is one of dozens that my father propagated over the years from one owned by my Grandmother. She died in 1966, so the lineage has been ongoing for at least 42 years.

You have one awsome collection of the most beautiful hoyas. And the presentation you have done is fabulous. Wish I had a few of those species. I have 3, big one is the normal one all stores sell and is over 25 feet wide if I straighten them out. I agree whole hearted with you. Well done.

Very, very interesting. I was searching for a particular Hoya plant but you have re-kindled my interest in more of them!
I grow many Brugmansias in the UK.

I picked up a nice hanging basket at the hardware store and hung it on my deck outside. After two years, I noticed a cluster of flower buds and was amazed to see the delicate flowers when each bud (about 30)on the stem opened. I had no idea what this plant was but fortunately found a picture of a hoya bella in a houseplant book and then the google search lead me to your site. Thanks for the wonderful pictures. I have a Hoya Arnottiana!

Wow your hoya plants are amazing. I have one plant that flowered at one time but nothing over the past 4-5 years. I have it in a location that it is happy with but so far no flowers. What's the best fertilizer??
