Hoya curtisii King & Gamble

This hoya comes from the Philippines, Malaysia and New Guinea and it was described in 1908.

This is not a hoya that needs a lot of space. It has small dark green leaves with lots of flecks and very pointy tips. The leaves are about 1.5 cm long and 1.5-2 cm wide. It's a hoya best grown hanging.

The flowers are reflexed with beige corolla and the corona is white with red and yellow in the center. These flowers have a sprawling look, just like the ones on padangensis. Each flower is about 2 cm and there are up to 30 flowers in an umbel. The flowers have a vague, nice but undescribable fragrance and they last about 5 days.
